Beloved husband of Madeleine (nee Racoux) Chandler; loving father of Peter Chandler, Michele Long, and the late Paul Chandler; dear grandfather of Jennifer Chandler, James Chandler, Nicole Smith, Philip Dore, and Rachel Dore; great grandfather of Tyler Smith.

Son of the late James Perry and Bessie May (nee Stone) Chandler, James was born in Conway Springs. He and Madeliene married in 1946.
